For this exhibition, the members of the Exhibition Studio class created works in response to the show, Melendez & Whittle Composing and Collapsing. Their use of color, specifically Chase Melendez’s use of colorful, graphic shapes made me think of Pop Art. Through the process of coming up with a name for this exhibition, we came up with an inside joke involving Bobby Flay. I combined those two ideas to create A Mis-Flay-ke.
