For my senior project at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, my focus was the turn based, role-playing game my friends and I have been developing called, Uncle Fungeon’s Magic Dungeon. The game itself is inspired by Dungeon’s and Dragons, however, it has much simpler character creation and many original aspects like creatures, species, and magic. In fact, at the basic level, UFMD offers around 6,458,484,375,000 different combinations for characters. Uncle Fungeon’s has been a great way for me to interact with my friends as fellow creatives and storytellers. I am strongly influenced by these friends, their creativity, and their ability to tell stories.

 

My goal for my senior project was to create new ways to advertise the game itself as well as to show off the characters and stories we have played through, I accomplished this by creating the first issue of the comic and then creating the puppets, stickers, and standees to use in video projects and for advertising at future conventions.
